FiLM Grenade

Thanks to DVD-Forum we got a hold of a bunch of new James Bond Quantum of Solace Images. A lot of the images show the action packed nature of this new Bond film. It really seems like this might be a Bond film that sticks out in the series. It just seems more emotion driven, like the thought of 007 seeking vengeance on the death of his lover from the previous movie seems pretty exciting! what do you think of the images?

So here we have another new poster for The Transporter 3. I don’t know if they did this on purpose…but it looks almost exactly the same as the posters from the last two movies!!! I’ve said on numerous occasions that I don’t particularly care for Jason Statham or his over the top action. The poster looks alright I mean its a nice touch with the black and white with a shot of blue in the center, but still bugs me at how similar it looks to the last two films.

Here is another look at Jason Statham playing Chev Chelios in Crank: High Voltage. The image is pretty much pointing out that Chev probably has to keep pumping himself with electricity in order to live. This movie looks kind of dumb, I dunno if I’m the only one but if you read the plot here you might agree.

This looks very stupid. But then again Fast and Furious looks just like the others in the series. Honestly I have never been a fan of The Fast and the Furious franchise. I mean sure they have cool cars but do you have to make a movie about them? Which includes terrible acting and over the top action situations. But oh well here’s the bootleg trailer we bummed off of Youtube. Check it out.

So here you go Transporter fans! We have the brand new trailer for Transporter 3. So we pretty much see more of the same old Transporter stuff, driving cars into things and Jason Statham kicking the crap out of a bunch of guys. So it looks like Frank Martin has some strange bracelet, watch thing that might explode or something. Hmmm…. does this remind anyone else of Crank or something?

Once again Jason Statham is back as Frank Martin in the Transporter 3. The poster was found on the films French website and seems very plain if you ask me. I’m sure most Film Grenade fans know we are not the biggest Jason fans here. I personally think his action movies are a ridiculous blend of over the top action and irritating dialogue. But who knows maybe Transporter 3 will change my mind…probably not. Well what do you guys think of the poster anyway?

Body of Lies should be a great suspense filled movie. Roger Ferris, played by Leonardo DeCaprio, who uncovers a lead on a major terrorist leader suspected to be operating out of Jordan. Before Ferris creates his plan to get inside the network, he must first gain the back up from CIA veteran Ed Hoffman, played by Russel Crowe, and the collegial, but may be the suspect, head of Jordanian intelligence. Even though they are his allies, Ferris does not know how much he can trust these men without being obvious and putting his life and the operation in danger. I really like Leo and the movies he has done and i assure you guys that this will be a great movie. 

According to spoilertv they have just gotten their hands on the first official Transformers 2 poster. I personally have a little doubt that this is real just because of all the fake posters that have been coming out lately. If this poster is official it would be a good add on to the Transformers 2 Character Guide released two months ago. Does anyone else think this is fake? DreamWorks/Paramount are planning for a June 26, 2009  release for “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.”

We just got a bunch of The Dark Knight images, Many are new some are not, all are high resolution! And again I am ecstatic to see this movie! Its going to be unbelievable, and every time I see new images of the Joker I get chills! There are a bunch of new images for the Joker and a few new ones for Harvey Dent as well.Take a look at all the images and let us know which is your favorite, or what you think of the new movie!

Well here you go, I broke down and posted a bunch of clips and a trailer for Death Race. To be perfectly honest with you guys I’m not a fan of Jason Statham…at all. I think I have seen most of his movies (for some reason?) and have hated all the ridiculous over the top violence and his “action guy” persona. I really don’t think this movie will be very different. But hey if you like that stuff then kudos.

Coming Soon.net interviewed Jack Black, Robert Downey Jr., and Ben Stiller on their upcoming movie Tropic Thunder. We all basically know what the basic story is for Tropic, Basically a group of conceited actors are dropped off in the wilderness of Vietnam where they think they are making a movie, and we watch their shenanigans as they try to get though the ordeal. Mel Gibson and Danny Glover are in talks to reprise their roles as LAPD homicide detectives, Martin Riggs and Roger Murtaugh.  According to TrackingB, screenwriter, Shane Black, has written a script for Lethal Weapon 5.  According to Coming Soon, the film will be about Martin Riggs ready to retire but must finish one last case and needs the help of retired, detective Murtaugh.  This is what Coming Soon has posted.

This time, homicidal Riggs (Mel Gibson) is about to retire, but pulls Murtaugh (Danny Glover) out of retirement to solve one final case, before they both officially head off into the sunset.

I loved the Lethal Weapon movies but do you think we need another one?  To be honest, I would go see the film if it is made, especially if Richard Donner comes back to direct it.  What do you guys think?

Action star Jason Statham wants to join the comic/superhero trend. Marvel Comics has decided to relaunch the Daredevil character and film, and Jason Statham wants in. Statham denied the role of character Bullseye - once played by actor Colin Farrell, instead he wants to take the role of the Daredevil - who was played previously by actor Ben Affleck. Statham himself responded…

“absolutely, just give me the chance, I would love to be Daredevil.”

Frank Miller replied by saying…

“I think he should be Daredevil too,”

What do you guys think? Jason Statham clearly has the physicality to pull-off the character, but there’s something about that still doesn’t convinced me that he would be a good Daredevil. Maybe its the accent or the hair, then again I was wrong about Heath Ledger being the Joker.

A friend of mine sent us this Fake Riddler poster that he found on a tech forum; so thanks to whoever made it! There have been a lot of rumors about how Johnny Depp will be playing the Riddler,but i am certain those are just rumors. Either way this is a really cool poster and makes the Riddler seem very dark, which he should be! I really hope they decide to make a third Batman installment and definitely include the Riddler as a key villain. If there is anyone who could attempt to top the Joker is probably the Riddler!
