Joker Scene in TDK Might Be Removed

Due to Heath Ledger’s unfortunate passing Warner Bros. are considering on cutting a rather uncomfortable scene from The Dark Knight featuring The Joker. Warning, read on if you want to know the scene, we limited the context.

The scene involves Ledger’s Joker character pretending to be dead and being pictured in a body bag. The aftershocks of Ledger’s unfortunate death are such that many feel that the scene is not within appropriate time and it is not playing well with test audiences, for now executives are considering removing the scene altogether. With many respect to Heath Ledger and Ledger’s family I say leave the scene in. Without a doubt this just might be one of Heath Ledger’s best performances because not everyone can portray such a character, especially when Ledger made him darker. And lets face it, Ledger would want this, he lived this character. True, the scene can later be installed in the DVD, but what good is that to an audience like me who have been waiting three years and want to experienced the film to the fullest in the big screen. The Dark Knight hits theaters July 18th, 2008. The Dark Knight is a Warner Bros. Pictures Distribution.
