Jon Favreau Shows Desire To Direct Iron Man 2

The director of the successful comic book adaptation Iron Man, Jon Favreau, was on the Howard Stern show recently and talked a little about Iron Man 2.  Jon Favreau is the only important person who is not signed to do the sequel yet, and he said that his “heart would be broken” if he were not locked in to direct Iron Man 2.  Favreau also mentioned that he made 4 million for directing Iron Man.  When he directed Elf, which put him on the map, the film made a 138 million dollar profit and Favreau did not get any percentage of that profit.  Howard Stern screamed out “Dollar one! Dollar one!”  By screaming this, he meant that Favreau should get a percentage as soon as Iron Man makes it’s first dollar.  I totally agree with this.  Jon Favreau is what made the movie a success.  He deserves a percentage of what Iron Man 2 makes, don’t you think?
